Why Choose the Bear Valley Bible Institute?
Because We Train Preachers...
Today, as much as ever before, the church needs sound preaching. The lost are still lost and need the gospel. Even within the brotherhood, congregations are leaving the pattern of sound words contained in the Scriptures in hopes of attracting larger crowds and pleasing more people. This worldly approach takes the emphasis off of God, our Creator, and puts greater trust in what man wants. But, what man wants will not save him. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). The problem is growing and the threat is real.
Because We are Sound...
At the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, we believe in the pattern of sound words that God has revealed to mankind in the Bible and each day we work to entrust this pattern to faithful men who will teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2). Since 1965, the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver has been training men and women for work in the Lord’s Kingdom. Our mission is to ground faithful men in the truth of God’s inspired word and to fan their desire to go out into the world and preach the good news.
Because We are Experienced...
With over 300 years of combined experience in preaching and teaching God’s word, our staff understands the importance of quality, sound Bible education. Our staff members are more than just classroom instructors. They have served as preachers, college professors, missionaries, teachers, elders, and deacons in a variety of locations -- from metropolitan areas to small country churches. This experience brings a new dimension into the classroom and allows us to teach not just the Book, but how it applies to real life situations.
We have been training men and women for full time ministry work since 1965. We have a long standing track record for this type of work and we are committed to continuing on. Starting in September of 2004, we begin our 40th year of training preachers.
Because We Care...
First and foremost, we care. We care about serving a mighty God, we care for His word, we care for the lost, and we care about the men and women who come to our school to be trained. In our estimation, there is no greater, more rewarding work, than preparing people for ministry in the Lord’s church. At the Bear Valley Bible Institute we have a passion for the Lord's Church and we strive, each day, to instill this same passion into our students.
