New Video Conferencing System Opens Doors Around the World

We have recently equipped one of our classrooms in Denver with a state-of-the-art video conferencing system that gives us more opportunities to train preachers than ever before. With the generous help of some brethren at the Broadway church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky, brother Dan Owen, Ph.D. now teaches classes on a regular basis in our Denver classroom. This system allows LIVE two-way interaction between the teacher and the students and allows for a very direct learning experience. It is as if brother Owen was standing in the front of the classroom and yet he is half a country away.
We have recently added a new U.S. location at the headquarters of Focus Press in Brentwood, TN. Brother Brad Harrub, Ph.D. is now also teaching classes each quarter in our Denver program through this system. Brother Harrub will be teaching Christian Evidences, Pentateuch and other courses in our two year proigram.
Teaching around the world...
This system is also operational in our Extension Center in Gorlovka, Ukraine. Once up and running, this system will allow us to teach LIVE courses in Ukraine from either Denver or Paducah. Our staff here in Denver, as well as brother Owen, will be able to teach daily classes to Ukrainian preacher students half way around the world without ever leaving home. The possibilities for this teaching environment are amazing.
We have also recently brough another foreign school online in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Making classes available online
In addition to the ability to teach at remote sites like Ukraine and Panama, we can now record these classes and make them available to anyone with a broadband internet connection around the globe.
