Future Preacher's Training Camp
June 13-20, 2010

Bear Valley church of Christ, Denver, Colorado

COST OF THE CAMP
There is no charge for the camper to attend. The camper will be responsible for transportation to and from camp, and spending money for any off-campus activities.

WHAT TO BRING
Campers will need to bring bed clothes and toiletry items. Shirt and tie are REQUIRED each day for classes, evening activities, and some field trips. Coat and tie are REQUIRED for all Sunday worship services. Casual clothes and knee length shorts may be worn in the rooms and at recreational times. Shirts with logos advertising tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and negative or suggestive language will NOT be worn at any time. No earrings or visible necklaces are allowed. Swim trunks will be needed for trips to the pool, and lessons in baptismal procedure. DO NOT FORGET YOUR BIBLE!

WHO MAY COME
Camp is designed for young men, 13-18 years of age who are Christians. If a young man has not obeyed the gospel, they will be considered if space is available. Parents and friends are invited to visit any of our evening sessions, as well as opening and closing Sunday services and activities.

ACTIVITIES
The week is filled with training classes in Bible study, sermon preparation and delivery, the life and work of the preacher, and personal evangelism. There will be recreational activities each day such as swimming, putt-putt golf, and basketball.

CONFIRMATION AND CHECK-IN
We have a limited number of spaces available for camp. Therefore, all campers will receive an e-mail containing a letter of confirmation once their application has been received and accepted. If e-mail is not available, then the applicant will receive the latter by mail. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If later than June 1, confirmation will be made by phone.

YOU MUST RECEIVE CONFIRMATION TO ATTEND. Check-in is Sunday, June 11th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Campers must be settled into their rooms by 5:00 p.m. for a Welcome Address given by the elders and staff.
